For today’s review we are going to be trying and reviewing a strain I haven’t had in quite a while.

This strain that we are reviewing comes from Mendo Medical Cannabis who are located in Quebec, Canada. The strain that we are trying from them today for this review is their Legacy MK Ultra flower.

I don’t remember the last time I had MK Ultra but it use to be a strain that my friends and I would smoke a lot while I was in college. This was a pretty good strain most of the time as there was times where it wouldn’t be grown the best.

The times when you got it from a good grower you were for sure getting high from it. So I’m hoping this will be just like when I smoked it back in college.

The strain MK Ultra was first bred by T.H. Seeds which started in 1993. They are located in Amsterdam. T.H. Seeds is one of the oldest and renowned cannabis seed companies in the world and known for many different strains.

MK Ultra is an indica-dominate hybrid strain from crossing OG Kush and G13 together. Both of these strains are very well known in the cannabis community. Even the strain G13 comes with its own folklore and government conspiracy theories.

This batch of Legacy MK Ultra is 28.9% THC, less than 1% CBD and 2.74% terpenes. The terpene profiles found in this strain are Caryophyllene, Farnesene, Humulene and Limonene.

The package the HQ (Half Quarter/3.5 grams) came in was very easy to open and close when you want to which always help as some can be a pain in the ass to open.

When I ripped the first part off the bag before evening opening it I could smell the aroma from the buds. When I took a proper smell it had a bit of a skunky and earthy aroma.

It came with one big bud that was pretty dense and it did look very nice. The buds were easy to break up and roll into a blunt.

Now that I was done rolling I’m ready to head outside and see what this MK Ultra is like compared to the stuff I smoked when I was younger. This blunt was slow burning and had a great flavour profile which is something you can never complain about.

While smoking it wasn’t too harsh but I did cough here and there so it wasn’t too bad as some strains can just be so harsh and make you cough like crazy. After smoking I for sure had the munchies and was feeling pretty good that I almost forgot to finish writing this review.

My overall view of the Legacy MK Ultra by Mendo Medical Cannabis is this is a great indica strain that they have. This is something I would for sure want to smoke towards the night time as it is an indica but it’s also not super heavy where you just want to pass out.

I think this would be great for just taking it easy and starting to wind down your night before you end up going to sleep in the next few hours. For just over $25 Canadian for the HQ I think it’s worth getting and trying for yourself to see what it can do for you and your cannabis needs.
