Since Covid-19 aka coronavirus landing state side, the domino effect on the creative economy has been significant.

Visual artists, performers, writers, producers, administrators and countless other industries have been forced to end production and/or close their doors as a result of the pandemic, at least temporarily. And we, at Substantial Art & Music are not immune.

Due to recent developments including school closures in the State of Maryland and recommendations from the Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO), our office at Creative Suitland recently announced that they too will close its doors beginning March 16th – 29th. We have postponed our stARTer Kit workshop that was scheduled for Saturday, March 21 and will be offering an online workshop instead. More details to follow.
