The chorus is amazing. I especially like that he sampled the song “(I know) time is gonna change” by the Feminiques. It is a change of tempo from the slow, somber original song. His vocabulary usage is astronomical. I love that he is rapping consciously about an issue that is plaguing our country. His first couple of lines grabbed my attention right off the bat and did not let me go. “We used to suffer from lacerations on plantations, not the foundation, I found my patience inside of hostile places, I once engaged in, I could’ve married the game but skipped the arrangement.”
