Brady Watt & Demrick Join Forces For New Collaborative EP ‘WAVRIDIN’ (LIVE VIDEO)

The last calendar year has been very transformative for Brady Watt, as his profile has risen exponentially due to his groundbreaking “Bass & Bars” series (an ongoing series that has included appearances from Warren G, Evidence, Pharoahe Monch, B-Real, Smoke DZA, Talib Kweli, Murs, Papoose, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and Jadakiss among many others) series that has generated sustained organic growth and widespread adulation across the net.

Likewise, west coast spitter Demrick has wasted nary a minute over the last year, as he spent the year on three separate tours with Cypress Hill & Xzibit and also with Dizzy Wright, Problem, Ras Kass and Berner. Further, he released the Tour Talk EP with Problem. Demrick also released his solo project, No Wasting Time, and worked on new material with his Serial Killer brethren (B-Real of Cypress Hill & Xzibit),

On the heels of his most recent collaborative project with Bishop Nehru, The Real Book, Vol. 1, Brady Watt announces his new collaborative EP with Demrick WAVRIDIN; which is now available at all DSP’s. To celebrate, Brady & Demrick released a live performance of the EP’s title track, which was premiered by Vibe today.

“I really fuck with Demrick’s sound and his lyrical skills. The whole project is vocals, bass, and drums. Rhymes surfing on the multi layered bass vibrations and hardass drums” Brady Watt commented. “I recently moved to LA from Harlem, so I’m really on this sunshine/beach vibe that is very different from my usual habitat. The title of the EP (WAVRIDIN) encapsulates that sound and vibe.”

“Brady’s production style brought out a different vibe from me lyrically. It really pushed me” Demrick explained. These three songs are a piece of art and we had a live performance aspect in mind while we were creating it.”
