Today we are doing another wake and bake concentrate review. For this review, we will be trying a new concentrate from a place I have reviewed many times.
The concentrate that I will be reviewing today is coming from Growtown who are located in Ontario. The team at Growtown will be doing a rebranding soon so I look forward to seeing what changes they will be making.
I have tried most of their products and have been pretty happy with them all. At this point I just need to try three more things from them and I have tried everything they have to offer.
The concentrate that we will be trying from them today is their Bubblegum Funk (BGF) Hash Rosin which is made using a solventless process in small batches.
When I saw that they had this I knew that I had to try it as I do enjoy dabbing and wanted to see how their concentrate would be compared to other places I have tried.
Bubblegum Funk (BGF) is an indica-dominate hybrid strain from crossing Chem 91 and Bubblegum Biscotti together. This batch of Bubblegum Funk Hash Rosin is 71.3% THC, less than 1% CBD 2.1% CBG and 7.12% terpenes.
The terpene profiles found are Farnesene (2.53%), Caryophyllene (1.24%), Myrcene (0.86%), Linalool (0.53%), Limonene (0.52%) and Bisabolol (0.49%).
I’m looking forward to trying this concentrate and seeing what it can do as my first smoke of the day.
The concentrate comes in a jar which is easy to open and close and inside. Once you open the jar you will find your gram in a smaller concentrate container.
Since there is no rolling required I am now ready to start dabbing and the 3 dab challenge for this review. After taking the first dab I could tell that this did have a bit of a kick to it. The flavour profile was pretty interesting on the exhale.
There was for sure some gassy flavours on the exhale which left a very pleasant taste in my mouth. Now the second was a bit bigger and that messed me up for sure. On the exhale I got a crazy body buzz that took me a bit to regather myself.
Now I was for sure feeling high and I still had one dab left to go before I’m done. So far I am really happy with this stuff as it is strong and taste great!
The last dab was just like the second just the body buzz was not intense this time. I was feeling pretty good and was definitely high.
You could tell that it was an indica high as it did feel heavy and made me just want to chill and not do much. It wasn’t overwhelming in any kind of way at all but I find Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabigerol (CBG) highs are like that.
My overall view of the Bubblegum Funk (BGF) Hash Rosin by Growtown is that this is for sure a winner and they did an outstanding job on this one!
I know I will end up getting more of this in the future as I really do like this one a lot and for around $50 Canadian a gram also isn’t too bad either.
Growtown was the first place I tried something with CBG in it and they have also been really cool with me. I find the combination of THC and CBG together brings on feelings of happiness and a sense of well-being.
I feel that for medical or recreational users who suffer from depression or anxiety may benefit from this combination. With this being said it’s always best to have at least one person in your life that you can talk to when you need it.
I think for people who love dabbing you are really going to enjoy this one for sure as it is pretty strong and does have a really nice high with it. I hope everyone has a chance to try some products from Growtown as I do really enjoy the products that they are putting out.
