The Punchline Academy’s Lyric League Series just touched down in Columbus, Ohio, and the capital city officially showed out! Taking over Cure Coffeehouse, this stop proved exactly why Ohio remains an absolute powerhouse in underground hip hop history.

For this massive session, host Da Inphamus Amadeuz, Tone Viera, and Mrz Get@Em linked up with Midwest underground heavyweight Copywrite. Known for his legendary battle rap pedigree and razor-sharp pen game, Copywrite helped curate an elite lineup of the city’s finest raw lyricists and certified spitters.

The Punchline Academy: Pure Bars, No Gimmicks

From the very first verse to the final drop, this cypher shows why skills still matter. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just pure hip hop energy, relentless wordplay, HARD hitting punchlines back-to-back that take no prisoners, like Bruce Lee in The Big Boss ice factory fight..

Every MC stepped to the mic with something to prove, keeping the energy locked at a fever pitch the entire session. Ohio’s legacy of elite lyricism isn’t just alive, it’s sharpened, focused, and fully activated.

Each artist brought their own flavor, cadence, and fire, but the mission stayed unified, protect the culture and represent hip hop at its highest level.
