DfonK x Smif-N-Wessun – “IMOM” (In Memory Of Marvin Gaye)

In memory of Marvin… The late Marvin Gaye an inspiration to many and also to dFonK and Smif-N-Wessun.

After recording the EP ‘SEASONS’ at dFonK’s studio located on the Belgian coast, dFonK and Smif-N-Wessun visited some sites where the Great Marvin used to live, sleep, eat, work out, but more importantly did some “soul-searching”.

DfonK lives just 5 minutes away from where Marvin used to live near Ostend, known as the ‘birthplace’ of Sexual Healing… This single IMOM (In memory of Marvin) is the second song that Brooklyn based rappers Tek and Steele have recorded with Belgium’s own dFonK.

The groovy beat with dope flows flow from OG’s Tek and Steele alongside a bass guitar makes you want to boogie, makes this a soulful joint!
