A decade after releasing The Mountain Will Fall, DJ Shadow is revisiting one of the album’s most celebrated moments with a fresh update built for a new generation of listeners.

Released worldwide today, “Nobody Speak Part 2” pairs the original energy of Run The Jewels with explosive new contributions from Denzel Curry and TiaCorine. The track serves as both a celebration of the album’s 10-year anniversary and a reminder of Shadow’s ability to bridge eras, styles, and audiences without losing the raw spirit that made his work essential in the first place.

Originally released in 2016, “Nobody Speak” became one of DJ Shadow’s most recognizable records, blending hard-hitting production with the larger-than-life chemistry of Killer Mike and El-P. The new version injects fresh perspectives into the formula while honoring the rebellious DNA of the original.

A New Chapter for a Modern Classic

For longtime fans, the release offers more than nostalgia. It demonstrates how influential records can evolve while remaining rooted in the culture that inspired them. Denzel Curry and TiaCorine bring their own unique energy to the track, helping introduce a new audience to one of DJ Shadow’s most celebrated collaborations.

As hip-hop continues to cross generations, “Nobody Speak Part 2” feels less like a sequel and more like a conversation between eras—connecting the underground spirit of the original with the voices helping shape the future.
