The underground doesn’t sleep, fresh off a dope run that has seen collaborations with icons like Kool G Rap and Raekwon, the Dallas heavyweight returns with IRON DECREE, a project that feels like a classic album and a tactical manual for the underground.

IRON DECREE is a neck-snapping production that perfectly fits that grimy hypnotic type Boombap you can’t dance too. One of the standout tracks “HORROR SIDE”, produced by the legendary Stu Bangas, sets a menacing tone early on. It fits right at home in a dimly lit studio or a smoke filled room.

The project features a curated roster of beatsmiths including:

The Mali Empire

The Custodian of Records

Fludust

Circa 97 (behind the cinematic “NOBODY”)

NowaaH The Flood - IRON DECREE Album Cover featuring a warrior in orange and black armor with a sword.

Nowaah the Flood’s work remains grounded in real authentic underground hip hop culture. This one is a non skipper, every track is heat. It has some nice tv/movies samples to give it that classic cinematic feel, with tracks like “COW FOOT” produced by STINKY J, the beat is pure fire and is a slow burner with a flow to match.. also other standouts “JIM BROWN NEVER DIED” and “THE ANCHOR” are all examples of lyricism we dig over here.

For the heads who still value the physical, the rollout for IRON DECREE stays true to the culture. With a Limited Edition CD run of only 25 units and a Standard Black 12″ Vinyl, a very cool deal.
