Peace Dj Chong Wizard, where’s home?
Home is Vancouver, BC, Canada.
How long have you been djing and producing?
I’ve been DJing since 1998, producing since 1999.
What’s the underground hip hop scene like in your city?
I don’t really pay attention to the local Hip Hop scene.
Name some dope emcees from your area?
What inspires you?
Inspiration comes from everywhere… music, movies, books, comics, travelling, memories, friends, family… literally anything could inspire me at any moment but the reason I do this is my love for Hip Hop.
With so many dope tracks what should someone who’s not familiar with you go check out first?
Go check out my bandcamp page. The Power Stone, Reality Stone and Space Stone are part of my Infinity Stone series that I’m currently executive producing. It features all the new underground artists.
Do you do collabs, can artists contact you?
Yes I do collabos. After the Infinity Stone series is finished. I have about four collabo albums in the works where I’ll be producing them.
I’m already working with the artists I want to work with but I’m always looking for new talent but with that said I’ll find you. Don’t spam my inbox with your music links. That’s pretty much the worst thing you can do in this business.
Any shows coming up?
No I don’t really perform live anymore. I’m more in producer/executive producer mode these days. You never know though… I can still get busy on the turntables… it’s just a matter of really practicing a live set and perfecting it… problem is I get bored with doing the same thing over and over again… I’m more into making new shit instead of performing. I paid my dues rocking clubs, bars, house parties back in the day.
Your goals for the rest of 2019?
Finish these last 3 Infinity Stone EPs and get them all released.
Last words or shouts??
Shout outs to all my peoples… you know who you are.
