Your role at Beat Junkies Sound?

Business Manager.

How did you get started in this business?

I was mixshow dj for a local radio in the Inland Empire and I forged a relationship with the Beat Junkies, through various Industry events.

What is a typical day like for you? What takes up most of your time??

Emails and conference calls. Constantly trying to focus on our brand and build it without neglecting our core values.

How big is your staff and where do you work out of?

10 people .. We all work out of our school Beat Junkie Institute Of Sound in Glendale California.

How long have the Beat junkies been in the retail biz?

We have always had Merch for tours and small releases since the inception of the Beat Junkies in 1992. We recently in 2014 started created an online store on our website www.beatjunkies.com

What are some of your best sellers?

La Junkies Snap Back and Mobb Junkies T-Shirt, Junkies Chillin T-Shirt. We recently moved to more of a boutique style approach, So limited quantities on a limited release.

Goals for the remaining of 2019?

To continue to build our brand in positive manner, while focusing on the true art form of Djing.

Any setbacks to this biz??

There is always setbacks in business. The key is to learn from your mistakes and grow. You can always learn more, no matter what stage of life you’re in.
