The God MC Rakim has officially released the visual for “A Different Kind”, the lead single from the upcoming collaborative project DPG Wu-Tang: The Godbody LP.
Produced by Rakim alongside legendary producer Nick Wiz, the track pairs timeless lyricism with classic boom-bap production, reminding listeners why Rakim remains one of Hip Hop’s most influential emcees.
Directed by Aqua Stone Throne, the video captures Rakim delivering razor-sharp bars over his own production. DPG Wu-Tang: The Godbody LP brings together an all-star lineup featuring Kurupt, Masta Killa, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Daz Dillinger, KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Buckshot, and more.
The project also includes a special interlude featuring Eminem and Jay-Z. The album is produced by Rakim Allah (“The 18th Letter”) and Nick Wiz, with the exception of Track 10, which is produced by Nick Price courtesy of Kulture Media Group.
