Today, we’re examining a strain sourced from a new provider for this review.

The source of our current flower exploration is Sana’a, situated in New Brunswick, Canada at the mouth of the Miramichi River, renowned for its salmon. The name “Sana’a” holds significance, translating to “Work of Art” in Swahili and “Heal” in Spanish.

Boasting a sprawling 35,000 square-foot facility and nine cutting-edge flower rooms, Sana’a aims to deliver top-tier craft cannabis to both medical patients and recreational users alike.

The strain that we are trying today is their Florida Sunrise. The Florida Sunrise comes from Jungle Boys Genetics who are located in the US in California and Florida.

I am looking forward to trying this one as it’s always interesting to try cannabis from different growers in different provinces from Canada. From the legal market I am not sure if I have tried a lot of flower from New Brunswick so I’m hoping this will be a good one.

Florida Sunrise is a sativa-dominate hybrid strain (30% indica/70% sativa) from crossing Green Crack and Triangle Kush together. This batch of Florida Sunrise is 24.8% THC, less than 1% CBD (0.70%), 2.67% CBG and 2.42% terpenes.

The terpene profiles found are Caryophyllene (0.62%), Myrcene (0.61%) and Bisabolol (0.26%). The bag the Quarter (7 grams) of Florida Sunrise came in was easy to both open and close.

The aroma from the flower smelled really nice and reminded me of a fruity smell. The buds I got were dense for a sativa strain and were light green with orange hairs and a sparkled in the light from the trichomes. The buds were easy to break up in a grinder and roll into a blunt once they were broken up.

Now I am ready to smoke and see what this Florida Sunrise can really do for me and my cannabis needs. I hope this will be another good one as I have been enjoying strains a lot that have Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabigerol (CBG) in them.

While smoking the blunt I could tell it had a bit of a flavour that you will often find with strains that have CBG in them. It can be off putting but this strain didn’t taste too bad and I wasn’t rushing to finish or had to put it out because of the flavour profile.

The high was nice and enjoyable and not intense at all. I find when I smoke strains with CBG I tend to feel pretty good and calm with the high from the THC. My overall view of the Florida Sunrise by Sana’a is they did a great job with this CBG strain.

Yes the THC isn’t the highest like other strains but I find with CBG that doesn’t really matter. I think this would be a great day time weed since it’s a sativa but also you don’t feel anxious or too high where you can’t function at all.

If you are into CBG strains I think this is one that you should check out and see what it can do for you and your cannabis needs.

Make sure to hit me up on IG @torontowill.mrc and let me know what you think of the Florida Sunrise or other products from Sana’a you have tried.

Thanks for reading our cannabis reviews as always and be safe, stay positive, make good choices and enjoy what you are smoking!
