Strange Famous Records duo BlackLiq (Richmond, VA) and producer Mopes (Providence, RI) have never been afraid to put themselves out there. On their latest single “Little Me” BlackLiq shares the uncomfortable truths about how his childhood led him to never want to be a parent.
He grew up in hotels surrounded by chaos, drugs, and alcoholism with his family living together in just one room, traveling from state to state. Watching how it impacted his parent’s relationship and his older brother made him as honest and hard working as it did cold.
