Today we are trying a new strain from a new place. For this review we are trying a product from MTL Cannabis who are based in Montreal.

The strain that we are trying from them is their Wes’ Coast Kush flower. I haven’t tried this strain before, so I look forward to smoking it.

I got this while visiting a buddy at a dispensary called Sessions at their Orillia location. I really liked this location and for sure one of the better dispensaries, I have been to in Ontario.

So make sure to check out one of their many locations in Ontario. I remember when Toronto went through the whole Kush era. No matter where you went everyone had it.

Half the time that shit wasn’t even real Kush. If you remember old Kush and that amazing taste if use to have. You no longer have these days with all these different hybrids.

That’s the Kush I miss from many years ago. So I’m hoping this will be some good that can bring me back.

Wes’ Coast Kush is a heavy indica-dominate hybrid strain (75% indica/25% sativa) from crossing OG Kush and a mixture of hybrid strains together.

With a heavy indica like this we all know it’s gonna be one of those you’re not doing much after kind of high. This batch of Wes’ Coast Kush is 33.8% THC, less than 1% CBD (0.6%) and 4.93% terpenes.

The terpene profiles found in this strain are Limonene, Linalool, Caryophyllene, Farnesene with Myrcene being the dominate terpene profile. The HQ (Half Quarter/3.5 grams) came in an easy to open and close plastic jar.

Once you open the jar you are greeted with a very gassy and earthy aroma. The buds are very dense, look great and are light green with orange hairs.

You can see that they have a nice glitter from the trichomes that cover the buds. Breaking up and rolling this into a blunt was no issue at all.

Now I was ready to smoke and see what this Wes’ Coast Kush is all about. While smoking this was the first Kush strain I have tried in years that had the closest flavour profile as the old school Kush strains I grew up on when I was a teenager.

This was a very slow burning blunt that had a strong punch with each puff I took. So I wasn’t complaining when this blunt burned for over 30 minutes.

I was for sure feeling the high while smoking this blunt. After I was done smoking I was feeling that heavy indica high and was feeling great.

The high did last for over an hour after smoking, which never really happens to me so this is for sure a winner in my books. My overall view on the Wes’ Coast Kush by MTL Cannabis is that did a really amazing job on this one.

This is for sure up there with one of the best strains I have smoked and reviewed so far while doing these reviews. I would highly recommend that you try this and other products from MTL Cannabis.

For people with a higher tolerance you are going to love this one as this will actually get you high and ready to chill with some munchies.

People with a lower tolerance this would be amazing for the evening time to share with a few friends or a solo pinner (small blunt or joint).

This will get you really high, so don’t expect to be doing much other than just chilling and eating some snacks. I think medical users would love this strain just to relax, take away any pain they might be feeling or a way to end the day before going to sleep.
